The Girl With Golden Hair: Maggy The Frog/Cersei/Original

She dreamt of the forest again.

Of a throne made with swords that cut into her flesh and made her bleed until a great river of blood flowed out onto the ground summoning a pride of lions who licked at it hungrily.

Suddenly, a great stag passes by, wearing a crown of leaves and a lioness, covered with blood, tares open the belly of the beast and brings it to it's knees.

After that, the wolves came and the lions fought them on a crimson field of blood.

Her blood.

Then an ancient, silver grey, Dragon came with violet eyes and thousands of horses behind it and showered everything with flames before it turned to her.

She tried to stand.

To run.

But it was too late.

The dragon looked at her, roared and all she saw was blackness.

The roar echoed in her ears until she woke suddenly, bathed in sweat and filled with fear, finding herself back in the small tent that served as her bedchamber.

A sudden soothing smell of cinnamon and nutmeg helped to clear her head and still her fear.

But then, as if still part of the same nightmare a pair of yellow eyes stared at her from the darkness and took form as the person before her stepped into the light.

'Daughter... Tell me what you saw.' Maggy the Frog asked in that familiar croaking whisper as she walked over and sat beside her on the bed.

The girl took a deep breath and began to explain, leaving nothing out.

When she was done, the woman she knew as her Mother stroked her hair and sang a song in a language she did not understand.

The song only served to make her upset.

''What am I? Why do these dreams torment me every night?'' She asked fighting back the tears she felt in her eyes.

The Maegi continued to sing.

There would be no answers.

Not yet.
